What's Included

1x quartz dome sleeve for the UV-700 or UV-1200 lamp

How It Works

The quartz dome together with the O-ring keep the water sealed inside the UV reaction chamber and away from the UV lamp, allowing the UV rays to irradiate the water column flowing through the chamber. 

The dome also comes with a spring inside to prevent the UV lamp from cracking the quartz upon insertion.

How often should I replace my quartz sleeve?

We recommend replacing your quartz sleeve every 1–2 years, or sooner if it becomes cloudy, scratched, or coated with mineral buildup. Even if it looks clear to the eye, subtle cloudiness can reduce UV effectiveness and compromise your water protection.

Can I clean the quartz sleeve instead of replacing it?

You can gently clean your quartz sleeve with a soft cloth and a mild acid solution (like vinegar) to remove mineral deposits—but over time, etching and wear will still occur. Cleaning is great for short-term maintenance, but regular replacement ensures long-term UV performance.
